The cloud gaming service by Microsoft was a refreshing introduction to the gaming industry. A lot of people have not experienced the streaming service because of other consoles on the market. But, getting your hands on the Pro membership is now easier than ever.
AT&T is offering 6 months of Stadia Pro to it’s new customers and existing 5G members. Originally, the offer was only for new members but now existing members with a 5G connection are also getting it. It isn’t clear if the offer is available to both the wireless and fiber customers. As of now only the new fiber customers are getting the membership.
A reddit user first broke the news with a link to signup for the offer. The offer is official and any new member or existing wireless customer can redeem it. The only thing you need is an email account.
What Stadia Pro gets you is with the membership is incredible. The service gets you a 4K/HDR stream, while the basic membership only gets you 1080p. You can also store a lot more clips with the Pro membership. Up to 500 clips can be stored with Stadia Pro. Members also get access to exclusive discounts and Stadia Pro free play days. The biggest perk is the access to the Stadia Pro game library. The library contains dozens of games with 4 added every month. The Pro membership provides access to all these games over the 6 months. Some of the games included are: F1 2020, ARK: Survival Evolved, Dirt 5, Hitman: The Complete Fist season, Mafia III: Definitive edition and many more AAA and indie titles.
Other services are also available in the Stadia Pro membership. The Ubisoft service called Ubisoft+ is available to the pro members of the service. Touchscreen controls are also present on android. Google’s Phil Harrison said that other models and subscriptions are also coming to the membership. Hence, Stadia is only going to get better.
This offer is a really nice move by AT&T. The perks offered by the membership will attract new customers to the service and also keep the the current ones on board. This also helps the media conglomerate to get the attention of a targeted audience. This Stadia Pro membership will appeal to the gaming demographic. AT&T can get a lot more customers through this offer as people like the idea of free games for 6 months. So, this promo will certainly reflect in a positive manner and is a great step by the company.
