Activision’s Transformers Games Have Been Relisted On Xbox And Steam Stores

They might be available to purchase in the future.

Story Highlights

  • Activision’s Transformers games have allegedly been relisted on Steam and Xbox stores.
  • They still cannot be bought for now, but players are now able to view them in the stores.
  • Activision has yet to comment on the development. It is best to take it with a grain of salt.

It appears that Activision’s Transformers games have been relisted on Steam and Xbox stores. As pointed out by the fan account @TFHypeGuy on Twitter, the games were recently listed but are still not available for purchase. However, the fact that the listings are back online suggests that the publisher could be cooking something big behind the scenes. These entries were taken down a long time ago in the past and have been dormant till now.

On the Xbox store, the games include Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark, the sequel to War for Cybertron, and the franchise’s last title, Transformers: Devastation. Over on Steam, you can also spot the original War for Cybertron.

Transformers Games Were Already Available For Some Xbox Players

It’s worth noting that some Xbox players on Twitter have claimed that they could already see Transformers titles in the store. On the flip side, many others have been unable to spot them until now. The back and forth suggests that this could be a regional issue in the first place. At least, everyone seems to be united on the fact that these games were unavailable on Steam until now, suggesting that Activision has some big plans for this franchise.

All in all, it is best to take this development with a big pinch of salt. At the end of the day, this could prove to be a nothing burger by Activision. And since we still cannot purchase them from the stores, it might be a tad bit too early to be so optimistic.
