Microsoft Sending Curated E-Mails For Xbox Series X Bundles

Microsoft Corporation is sending out e-mails to certain customers for purchasing Xbox Series X bundles.

It’s been over a year since the Xbox Series X was released and it is still a very coveted item among gaming enthusiasts. From exceptionally inflated costs to the shortage of the console in retail stores, many consumers have been waiting for months to get their hands on the console and Microsoft Corporation is certainly aware of it. Fortunately, the company is trying to resolve this concern by sending out curated e-mails to certain customers that would be interested in purchasing Xbox Series X bundles.

A few days ago, Phil Spencer, the Head of Xbox Game Studios, sat down for an interview with CNN Underscored in which he addressed the shortage of Xbox Series X consoles and mentioned that the company is working on managing the supply chain to ensure that consumers can get their hands on the consoles soon.

“There’s a lot of things we’re doing. Managing supply chain right now is quite a bit of work, and I’m not an expert at it at all. We’ve got good teams that are, but it’s [everything] from shipping to parts and supply to the whole, to retail availability, to dealing with scalpers and bots. The fundamental issue right now we have is more demand than supply,” he said.

It seems like we now know what Microsoft Corporation may be doing to manage the supply chain of its Xbox Series X consoles, as yesterday, Marcellus Wallace, a user on ResetEra, posted a screenshot of an e-mail sent to them by the company, in which they were informed about the availability of a limited supply of Xbox Series X bundles.

Furthermore, the e-mail also mentions that it does not guarantee the availability of the Xbox Series X bundles, as they can be sold out at any time, and that the availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you received this e-mail, you’ll have to act quickly because these bundles will likely become unavailable very soon. As for the bundles themselves, you can choose one from the Madden NFL 22 Xbox Series X|S, Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition, Far Cry 6, Rust Console Edition, Hasbro Family Fun Pack – Super Edition and Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate bundles.

Of course, these options are far from being ideal but it’s better to own an Xbox Series X console while you can than not. According to a few users, many customers have been able to successfully secure Xbox Series X consoles through these curated bundles, so it’s certainly one way of purchasing the console without having to pay the extravagant costs that scalpers are selling them for. Regardless, what Microsoft Corporation is doing for its customers is commendable and we expect other manufacturers to do the same.
