                                                                                Major Takeaways.

Halo 3 is an Xbox 360 first-person shooter video game that Bungie created in 2007. The third game in the Halo series culminates the story arc that was started in Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001 and continued throughout Halo 2 in 2004. Within a few months of Halo 2’s release, Bungie started work on Halo 3.

The game was launched in September 2007 after being formally unveiled at E3 2006. Halo 3 has sold over 14.5 million units as of this writing. The game also has the highest video game sales in the United States in 2007. Overall, reviewers gave the game high praise.

The major cause of the frenzy among the fans is that this particular build details the chronicled progression which led to the actual masterpiece. The fans of Halo 3 will be amazed to explore the early stages of development and how Halo 2 is the cornerstone in them.

The cause of hype for this specific build is due to the reason that it’s the first publicly known build of the game. It is infamous because when it was being tested, it would be visible on your Xbox profile as “Pimps at sea”.

It was somewhat of a running gag within Bungie that they were planning to make Pimps at Sea, Halo 2’s successor. Although the game was never launched, from 2001 to 2011, updates on its progress were always given around April 1 to the amusement of fans.

The majority of the fans cannot get their hands on the build due to its exclusivity but they can still have a look at the actual gameplay in the following videos we have attached.

Another major takeaway from this alpha build is the inclusion of a leaning aim to fire around corners as revealed by another Twitter user Rebs Gaming. Fans seem to have quite a conflicted take on the said feature and it will be covered extensively in a separate article on our website so stay tuned for that as well.

It seems that Santa has come clutch this Christmas seeing how we got the leaked builds of some classics like Prey 1995, Rayman 4, and Halo 3 in a few days.
