- Ubisoft Plus can currently be purchased for $1 for your first month.
- The offer is available until 19 January.
- Existing Ubisoft Plus members cannot avail of this discounted promotion.
Video game subscription services are all the rage these days, and rightfully so. They’ve enabled millions of gamers to play games that they’ve been meaning to try at no additional costs, thereby leading several to prevent buyer’s remorse from kicking into motion.
Ubisoft — the French video game industry giant — is currently running a promotion on its official storefront, making it possible for aspiring players to grab the Ubisoft Plus subscription for as low as $1.
Right after the first month, though, with this ridiculously low price tag, users will be charged the standard $14.99 price of the service.
In addition, that discounted deal is not only available for new account holders who haven’t signed up for the subscription before but for former members as well, so the situation at hand is truly win-win.
It bears noticing that this discounted promotion is slated to run until 19 January. On the flip side, if you’re an existing Ubisoft Plus member, you won’t be able to benefit from the offer in question. Guess you’ll just have to sit this one out.
Some of the major benefits that arrive in the wake of purchasing Ubisoft Plus is the addition of new releases to the catalog of the subscription service on day one. Moreover, players get to experience the full scale of Ubisoft’s best games with the Plus service in hand.
There is currently a selection of more than 100 games that Ubisoft Plus encompasses, but that’s not it. All of the season passes, expansions and other DLCs that have come out for each of those games are also included as part of your Ubisoft Plus subscription.
Some of the most noteworthy expansions that have been released for some of Ubisoft’s freshest games are Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok, Far Cry 6 Game of the Year Upgrade Pass, and others.
As one final incentive to get Ubisoft Plus — and this is something that I’m personally having a blast with as well — the video game subscription service in question lets you access the Deluxe, Gold, and Ultimate editions of games. This is for the purpose of maximizing your user experience with some of Ubisoft’s most substantial titles.
Right alongside the Ubisoft Plus promotion, another event called the “Bargain Bin” sale is currently live on the Ubisoft storefront. The latter has slapped on a discount that goes up to 80% off on a select number of games, such as Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed, and South Park: The Stick of Truth.
This offer too runs until 19 January, so the time is nigh to act fast if you’re looking to grab the likes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, and a swath of other AAA-grade Ubisoft games while saving money at the same time.
In the meantime, do let us know in the comments section ahead whether you’re going to purchase Ubisoft Plus following this discounted deal. If I wasn’t already subscribed to it, I’d have certainly bought the service—no questions asked.
Oh, and in case you missed it, Ubisoft Plus might be bringing more subscription tiers to offer to its user base. A recent GOG survey hinted at this, stating three different types of Ubisoft Plus services, namely Ubisoft Plus Gold, Ubisoft Plus Deluxe, and Ubisoft Plus Ultimate.
Of course, the latter could lead to nothing, as a similar scenario popped up about two years ago where another survey mentioned hints of additional Ubisoft Plus tiers. Do proceed with a grain of salt which is likely to be the wiser approach here.
