WWE 2K23 Update 1.03’s Patch Notes Out Now

WWE 2K23’s update 1.03 is now making headway toward Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms, sporting a multitude of fixes centered on stability improvements to prime the title for launch day, along with other noteworthy changes to player interaction. The hotfix has rolled out and will be landing on your end shortly if it hasn’t already. Look out for a new update as you install the game on your console or PC. 

Thanks to the officially verified WWE 2K23 Discord server, fans and followers can acknowledge the patch beforehand. The professional wrestling simulator launches today on March 17, and update 1.03 is going to be one of the firsts to revamp the core WWE 2K23 experience for the better. Here are the official patch notes in further detail as they’ve been pushed out now. 

“The following WWE 2K23 hotfix updates are live now on PlayStation and Steam, and will be live on Xbox soon:

• Polish and stability fixes for launch day.
• Improvements to CAS part compatibility
• Improvements made to Superstars interacting with objects lying on the ground.”

Moreover, the file size of the update has also been outed as it made landfall on different platforms. On Xbox One and the Xbox Series X|S consoles, the update 1.03 will set your storage back about 1.39 GB. On the PlayStation 5, the file size has turned out to be relatively less, totaling 1.3 GB. However, the update’s PC and PlayStation 4 counterparts are fairly heftier, amounting to 16.6 GB and 5.2 GB respectively. 

Back in January, WWE 2K23’s cover art and release date was leaked online. The outed information turned out to be fairly accurate, getting both of its claims right—John Cena being the face of the game’s cover and the release date slated to be March 17. It’s Cena’s second time fronting the cover of a WWE 2K game; his last venture was for WWE 2K14. 

WWE 2K23 builds upon its predecessor significantly, emphasizing the strongest selling points of WWE 2K22. A major new addition in the latest release is called WarGames, though, and it’s all about head-to-head mayhem with a myriad of different wrestlers. Talk about going all out in a steel cage, putting up a bloody no-holds-barred match-up with up to six players.
