A new 1 GB update has been released for Warzone 2.0 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 by Infinity Ward. This update comes after a horde of bugs was reported by players after last week’s update on April 14. The update along with rectifying the problems from the last update has also introduced changes to the core aspects of gameplay in both games. The majority of those changes are solely for Warzone 2.0.

The players were complaining about the layout and accessibility of Buy Stations. With the new update, the developers have tackled that problem by improving the interface of Buy Stations. The controller players reported some browsing problems. But after the update, they will now start on Gear Selection while using the Buy Station which will make it easier for them to choose their gear.

The issue with the “Hold The Line” mission which prevented players from receiving the reward upon completion has also been fixed.

In Warzone 2.0’s Battle Royale mode players were reportedly spawning with the Default Loadout instead of their favored loadout. And in the same mode, a few competitors were wrongfully given spawn protection after the Gulag match. The developers have fixed both of these issues in April 19 update. Moreover, the bug which caused the users to crash while opening AAR(after the action report) has also been solved.

Warzone 2.0’s DMZ mode has seen multiple changes as well. A few participants were exploiting UAV Killstreak unfairly which caused an uproar in DMZ lobbies. To preserve the competitiveness and fairness of the mode a one-minute countdown has been introduced to the use of UAV Killstreak. The countdown will be in place in the starting one minute of DMZ matches.

Moreover, the bug which prevented the controller players from picking the backpack of the eliminated enemy has been taken care of. The problem with Weapon Preview faced by controller users was also solved. After the April 14 update, Infinity Ward was ridiculed for the weird design of the Battle Pass which made life difficult for Battle Pass users. Some even faced game crashing issues while looking for their rewards.

Listening to the feedback, Infinity Ward has again changed the layout of Battle Pass. Now players are able to find their desired rewards without much hassle. The update has fixed multiple issues in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 as well. Some of those changes are listed ahead.
