Focus Entertainment has acquired British-based Dovetail Games, a studio well-known for its simulator games. The French publisher announced the acquisition in a press release. Focus now owns all of Dovetail games, including the Train Simulator IP. Focus was interested in Dovetail’s experience in developing simulator-like experiences.

Focus Entertainment, publisher of games such as Atomic Heart, Space Marine II, Evil West, and A Plague Tale Requiem, has made numerous acquisitions in the previous years. The publisher has made at least five acquisitions in the last couple of years, including Dotemu, Leikir Studio Streum on Studio, and Deck 13, among others.
