Get Your First Month Of Ubisoft+ For $1 On PC, Says New Offer

If you’ve been meaning to try your hand at some of the best games Ubisoft has ever made, now’s the time to act swift. Ubisoft+ is the France-based industry giant’s front-running video game subscription service that lets users enjoy a catalog of first-party games for a flat monthly or yearly fee. It normally costs about $14.99 every 30 days, but you can get the subscription for $1 right now for your first month. 

Interestingly enough, the offer applies to both new and formerly existing subscribers, but, of course, not to those who are already a member of Ubisoft+. If you haven’t purchased the subscription once or if you were a subscriber in the past but aren’t currently a member, the promotion is for you. Keep in mind that it’s the PC platform that’s in question here—console owners are not entertained this time around. 

To give you a little context about Ubisoft+ and what it brings to the table, put it on the same scale as PlayStation Plus, Xbox Game Pass, or even EA Play. Each of these subscriptions comes with a unique array of exclusive benefits, with the same being true for Ubisoft+. It is relatively pricier though, especially if you compare it to Game Pass, which costs nothing but a tenner for its base version.  

Some of the most noteworthy advantages one can get in the wake of being a Ubisoft+ member are premium edition access, unique monthly rewards, day one availability of new releases, and a catalog of more than 100 games that you can play anytime, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and Extraction as well.

Moreover, it’s not just this promotion that has been making the rounds on the internet. Ubisoft on its mainline storefront is currently hosting a sale event called “Big and Earn,” which slashes up to 85% off on specific games and DLC items, such as Riders Republic and Watch Dogs: Legion. A diversity of other titles have also been treated to discounted deals, should you choose to check them out. 

In other news, though, a bit of a debacle has surfaced online regarding Ubisoft. It all started when a Twitter user going by the name of AntiDRM posted a screengrab, illustrating how the company suspended their account “due to inactivity.” This sparked a fairly large outcry among fans, with everyone rushing to sign into their account before Ubisoft sent them a similar email as well. 

Now, however, we’ve got official confirmation that this isn’t truly the case. Speaking to PC Gamer, a Ubisoft representative has clarified that any Ubisoft account that has purchases tied to it will be exempt from deletion. It’s a sigh of relief, fairly speaking, given how many of us boot up our Ubisoft handles on rare occasions. 

In any case, before the deletion is permanent, three emails are sent to the player over a 30-day period offering to restore their account. In addition, if the user tries to log in during the 30-day window, they will automatically receive a warning and a link to reactivate their account.”
