Rainbow Six Mobile Available For Pre-Registering On Google Play Store

The most anticipated mobile port is drawing closer everyday.

Rainbow Six Siege is considered one of the best titles regarding strategic warfare and heartbeat-inducing gameplay. Players get incredibly creative with many ways to attack or defend a site. Couple all that with insta-kill shots; it feels like you are there physically, fighting for your hostages’ life.

Well, recently, there has been some news that might excite a few players; Rainbow Six Siege is finally getting a port to mobile devices. After much wait, Ubisoft has revealed the new title, which will be released exclusively on mobile. Rainbow Six Mobile is the latest installment in the Rainbow franchise, and the hope that this game will be more than a shadow of its original self is very exciting.

Ubisoft originally had this to say about the new mobile portAt first glance, many people might see Rainbow Six Mobile and think it looks incredibly similar to Siege, which is excellent! At its heart, Rainbow Six Mobile is a competitive and tactical FPS game with two teams of 5 – Attackers and Defenders.

Ubisoft continued elaborating, “While the core gameplay, characters, and maps may share similarities with Siege, we’ve rebuilt everything from the ground up with mobile usability. We have put a lot of work under the hood to adapt the Siege experience for mobile devices.”

Developers also revealed the particulars of the mobile port, “This includes an entirely new gameplay control system developed specifically for mobile and extensive optimization of the UI and in-game visual presentation.” All in all, the game will be available soon for players to enjoy the mobile experience.

Players can now pre-register for the title starting today. It is safe to say that the mobile version will not be up to the standards of the original Rainbow Six, but by seeing how important the title is to Ubisoft, they should strive for what made the game so remarkable in the first place.
