Subscription services have become the new trend in almost all forms of media this last decade. Many major companies from various niches of entertainment have adopted the method after Netflix made it famous. Gaming is no exception and has its fair share of subscription services.
One of the most popular and widely used subscription services in gaming right now is Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft’s offering of games is arguably the best value for money in the industry. It’s even more impressive when you know that Phil Spencer made it work even when most of the staff thought it would fail.
Xbox Game Pass frequently replenishes its game catalog by adding new games every month. So, players are always waiting to see which big games are coming to the service. As of recent, we might have an idea of one of the games coming to the Microsoft subscription service in August.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is available to download for players owning the Xbox Game Pass in Europe. u/MANOUJ posted a couple of screenshots on r/XboxGamePass, which showed this new addition. We can clearly see the game alongside other Ubisoft titles of the service in the screenshot.
Hence, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is most probably one of the games players are getting this month. The third-person shooter is actually a very good addition to the Xbox Game Pass. You can play it with your friends as well, as it has a really good co-op mode, so this is a win.
Do keep in mind that this “leak” is only for the PC version of the Xbox Game Pass, as of yet. No reports of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands appearing on the console version of the Xbox Game Pass have come out yet. Hence, the title isn’t a confirmation for Xbox consoles yet, only for PC.
Some players are also a bit disappointed with the prospect of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands possibly being the major game this month. It is no doubt a big game, but players were expecting an even major addition after the disappointing June they had. However, for better or worse, the Ubisoft shooter is at least one of the titles for Xbox Game Pass on PC this month.
