Cyberpunk 2077, following its recent resurgence thanks to consistent efforts from the side of CD Projekt Red, has been treated to a new patch in recent times. This time around, players can expect a swath of bug fixes, general changes, and other adjustments being made to the first-person shooter, with one of the major ones being correct key binding functionality for those players who use AZERTY-style keyboards.
Here are the main PC-specific changes that the Cyberpunk 2077 patch 2.12 has brought for users across the board:
- Fixed an issue where trying to bind the T key to actions in Exploration & Combat resulted in a “Binding Failed” error.
- Together with Intel we fixed the stuttering issue that occurred while the “Prioritize P-Cores” option was enabled.
- Together with Razer we fixed a crash that occurred when using Razer Chroma enabled devices.
- Fixed an issue where NPC hair could appear extremely bright inside vehicles when Ray Tracing is enabled.
- Fixed a crash that occurred on Steam Deck when playing with Ray Tracing enabled.
On a side note, Xbox players of Cyberpunk 2077 who previously reported an infinite loading glitch on their end while trying to boot up certain saves will now be able to go through the title smoothly. As for the general fixes rolled out for the game across every platform, here’s a rundown of everything you need to know.
Cyberpunk 2077 came out on December 10, 2020, initially for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC, with the title receiving a next-gen patch for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2022. eXputer rated the title 3.0/5.0 in its review at the time, criticizing the severe lack of optimization and an abundance of technical bugs and issues. Fast-forward to 2023, however, developer CDPR pushed out Phantom Liberty, the game’s first expansion.
