LEGO Builder’s Journey Might Release On PlayStation Consoles

Lego Builder’s Journey has been around for a while now. Initially, the game only came out on iOS and macOS devices back in 2019. The puzzle game was exclusive to the Apple devices and got high acclaim from critics. Players also loved the LEGO game, so the company ported it to other devices like the PC and Nintendo Switch. Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles also got the game in November, while the former two got their ports in June. Still, the game wasn’t available on any PlayStation device even after two years. However, that might be changing after a new discovery on the PlayStation Store.

A recent listing on the PlayStation Store in Australia confirms that LEGO Builder’s Journey is coming to both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. Previously, there had been a lot of rumors surrounding the game’s release on PlayStation consoles. However, nothing concrete was ever found and no official announcements were made by any of the parties. This is the first hard evidence of the game coming out on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Hence, it’s basically a confirmation of a PlayStation port.

We also see a release date for the game on the PlayStation Store listing. LEGO Builder’s Journey will release on April 19th, 2022 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, according to the game’s listing. So, we are getting the game in just two days on both the PlayStation consoles, which is great news for players. 

Another interesting aspect of the game is also present in the legal notes. Players will be able to play the newly launched Creative Mode of LEGO  Builder’s Journey on the consoles. You can freely create your own models from scratch with this really fun mode. Releasing with such an exciting mode certainly gives players some incentive to play the game.

Even with all this information, one thing has been left out from the listing. No price for LEGO Builder’s Journey is available on the PlayStation Store. It’s weird to announce the game and list it in the store but not reveal the price. Most likely, the game will be available for $19.99, as that is the price of the Xbox consoles and PC versions.
