Story Highlights
- Valve’s Steam is holding a publisher discount at this moment in time, with EA acting as the frontrunner.
- A wealth of EA’s titles have been discounted to great lengths in the wake of the store-wide sale.
- Some of the titles I find worth picking up include Jedi: Survivor, FC 24, A Way Out, Titanfall 2, and more.
One of the many reasons I adore Steam is how frequent it is in terms of hosting new discounts, publisher promotions, and everything of the sort. At the moment, EA is hyping up the community with its swath of deals and discounts on some of its most prominent titles, some of which I’m going to talk about and recommend to you here.
However, make sure to act quickly, because EA isn’t going to retain these titles with reduced prices forever. The offer lasts until May 13, which should give you enough time to make your purchasing decisions as of the time of writing.
My Top Recommendations For Different Types Of Players Out There
The forthcoming entries are based on my experience playing them over the course of their respective release periods. If you have a recommendation that I could potentially add to the list, feel free to talk about it in the comments section.
Oh, and it bears mentioning that EA Play has all of the company’s front-running titles up for grabs for free. Subscribe to the service to benefit from it in case you don’t want to buy these games right now.
1. Dead Space
EA partnered up with Motive Studio to push out the remake of one of the best survival horrors ever made, and thankfully, it hit the nail right on the head with it, despite past controversies. eXputer rated the effort 4.5/5.0 in its review, with author Huzaifah Durrani calling it “impeccable” on multiple levels. At 65% off right now, you can’t help but get it straight away if you’re a fan of the franchise.
- Get it on Steam.
2. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Your thirst for adventure is something that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor can seamlessly quench, thanks to its fantastic world design, addictive gameplay, and remarkable storyline. It’s the 2023-released sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order from 2019, improving upon the fundamentals significantly while offering yet another massive journey for Cal Kestis to embark on.

3. Battlefield 4
Call me biased, but I still keep going back to the 2000-ish players still playing on Battlefield 4’s servers from time to time, because I just can’t scratch that first-person shooting itch elsewhere. Tight gunplay, admirable visuals, a proper warfare feel, and no-nonsense action are what you should expect from one of the best Battlefields EA ever made. This over the latest in the series any day of the week, and trust me, I say that with the utmost sadness.
- Get it on Steam.
4. EA Sports FC 24
Breaking things off with FIFA didn’t make the magic of EA’s football games go away. The company just bounced back with a label of its own following the severing of the ties, calling it EA FC 24, with the same flavor and vigor for fans of the franchise. If you’re involved in the sport, best to pick this one up for $13.99 right now, which is a colossal 80% off its MSRP.
- Get it on Steam.
5. The Saboteur
I happened to spot a childhood sleeper hit on EA’s Publisher Sale that I strongly you should give a shot if open-world games with a twist of old-school gameplay are right up your alley. The Saboteur is set in the WW2 era, featuring parkour gameplay akin to the Assassin’s Creed series, followed by the craziness of the Grand Theft Auto titles. This all-time classic is an easy recommendation, I kid you not.
- Get it on Steam.
6. Titanfall 2
Multiplayer campaign shooters don’t get any better than the icon that Titanfall 2 is. For the most part, it’s a remnant of the past at this point, considering it came out back in 2016, but trust me when I say that the first-person shooter still holds its ground as an extremely enjoyable game, albeit one that’s much in the need of a modern-day resurgence. At $4.79, you might as well do me a favor and get it for your PC.
