Baldur’s Gate 3 is a game that offers a variety of items that you might have to collect and store while you are on your travels, keeping in mind that your character is kept from getting encumbered. Unfortunately, there are no Bag Of Holdings in Baldur’s Gate 3. Still, there are some alternatives that you can use in BG3 that perform like a one.

What Is A Bag Of Holding

A Bag Of Holding is essentially a pouch you can use to store more items. The bag is made to fit more weight and number of items than possible. The Bag Of Holding has a pocket dimension where you can store a certain number of items without encumbering your character or taking up vast amounts of space in your inventory. Also, you can describe it as a magical pouch of storage. It is a crucial item in games where your character can hold a certain weight and number of items.

How To Get A Bag Of Holding

Now as you know, there are no Bag Of Holdings. However, you could achieve the same results through a different approach. Until now, there have been three ways to store items like a Bag Of Holding.

I have mentioned those three ways below:

• Sending The Item Back To Camp
• Using The Chest Of Mundane
• Installing The Bags Of Holding Mod

Now I will discuss how each of these three alternatives can be used and how to get them.

Sending The Item Back To Camp

The first and most straightforward way is to send the items you do not need for immediate use to the camp. You can do this by going into your inventory and selecting the send to camp option that appears after right-clicking on a supply or item. The items that you send to camp will be stored in the Traveler’s chest found inside the camp. Furthermore, to reach the camp you can have a long rest.

Using The Chest Of Mundane

The second way is to get your hands on the Chest Of Mundane. The Chest Of Mundane is closest to a Bag Of Holding. The chest can convert each item you place into a lightweight item, such as a spoon, plate, etc. However, once you pull the item out of the chest, it reverts to its original form. Through this chest, you can carry much more weight on your characters without burdening them. To get this item, this is the path I followed:

1. Travel to the southwest of the Underdark.
2. This is where the Arcane Tower is located. 
3. Climb to a balcony once you enter the tower through the east entrance.
4. Here an Arcane Check will be conducted, which will reveal the chest’s location.

Installing The Bags Of Holding Mod

The last way to get your hands on a Bag Of Holding is to mod your game. Currently, there is a mod named “Bags Of Holding.” This mod will introduce Bags Of Holdings into Baldur’s Gate 3, which can be acquired randomly from loot. Furthermore, with the mod, you will be able to purchase the Bag Of Holding from certain vendors.
