When coming across one, you need to use your “Focus” to scan the Vista Point, which will present you with a hologram. In essence, the hologram is a relic from the “Old World,” but it is in shambles and ruins. You will need to locate the ruins, which will be somewhere close to Vista Point itself, and align the hologram with the ruin to solve the puzzle. A broken bridge is close to the Tower, about a few meters North of the Tower itself. Head over there, and stand on the edge of the bridge. Upon scanning, you will receive a hologram, an image from the “Old World.” using your Focus, line up the hologram, and it will resemble the ruins, and you have completed the first puzzle.

Plainsong Vista Point

The next Vista Point is in a location known as “Plainsong.” Once you arrive at the location of Plainsong, you can use the image of the location above and use it as a guide. In essence, you need to go a bit West of Plainsong, and you will come across some ruins, where you will see the very familiar Vista Tower.

Go closer to the Tower and use your Focus to scan it to receive the next puzzle. The hologram will show some images from the “Old World” again. You will need to head deeper into the ruins to solve it, leaving the Tower behind.
You will come across a ledge and a balcony that is completed obliterated. There are two giant wind turbines, completely intact one, the other which is broken, stand in between them, and using your Focus, line the hologram to the view of Plainsong, and you have completed the Vista Point puzzle!

Scalding Spear Vista Point

Scalding Spear is yet another exciting location that makes its way in the Horizon forbidden west world. Once you have taken a good look at the location on the map, you want to make your way to Scalding Spear itself. The Vista Tower is located in the direction of East as you head deeper into Scalding Spear.


When you come closer to the Tower itself, use your Focus to scan it and obtain the corresponding image or hologram that is a piece to the puzzle. There will be a yellow marker on your map, and it is the Quest point where you need to go. Overlooking the Sunwing territory, you need to follow the direction on your map and go over to the yellow marker.
Heading a little deeper into Scalding Spear, and the opposite of Sunwing’s, climb up one of the buildings that will overlook the surrounding area, and use your Focus to line the hologram to mark up the image and complete the puzzle of the Scalding Spear Vista Point.

The Stillsands Vista Point

The Stillstands is a desert-like region in the Forbidden West World. Use the image we have provided to figure out the original location where you need to go. Once you have done that, go to the desert, and head to its northern edge. The Tower will be located just a few meters away from the edge as you overlook into the Horizon.


Scan the Tower using your Focus to receive the next hologram. To solve this puzzle, you will need to continue heading north after passing the Vista Tower, and you will encounter a hill. Climb the hill, making sure not to run out of stamina. Once you have climbed the hill, you will overlook Las Vegas.
There could be some monsters that appear that you might need to get rid of. Once you are close to the ledge, use your Focus to line up the hologram with the original image, and you are done with the Stillsands Vista Point puzzle!

Dunehollow Vista Point

This vita point is located in Dunehollow, which is a location that you will need to first clear out after getting done with its respective story missions. Though the story mission is not that long itself, you will need to go to Dunehollow while taking part in the side quest associated with it.

Once you have arrived at the elevator located at Hidden Ember, ride down it. You will come across the ruins, which will have the location of the Vista Tower. You can easily spot it by a big sign that says “FatShake,” which we can guess is a fast-food chain or a gym. Some Snapmaw machines are roaming, so you will need to kill them off first.
After scanning the Tower with your Focus, you will receive the corresponding hologram. Take the elevator back up Hidden Embers, and get a move on to the main arena, where you use all your strength to fight the Tideripper. Going over the bridge, stand near the edge, and you will be able to align the hologram with the real-life ruins to complete the Dunehollow Vista Point puzzle in its allocated Horizon Forbidden West Vista Point location.

The Memorial Grove Vista Point

This particular Vista Point is located in The Memorial Grove, which is a location that is not only difficult to traverse but breathtaking. Taking help from the image we have provided, you can come across the Tower when you are traversing through the memorial grove, alongside a path, and the Tower itself is a little left to the main path.


When you get closer to the Tower, repeat the same steps, meaning using your Focus, scan the base of the Tower. You will be given a hologram that will indicate what you need to do next. To solve this puzzle, start moving to the East, and you will come across some hills.
Start climbing the hills, and you will see a big ledge overlooks a rusted satellite tower. When standing on the edge, use your Focus to line the hologram, and you have completed the Memorial Grove Vista Point puzzle!

The Long Coast Vista Point

Using your climbing ability, you can climb until you get the perfect view of The Greenhouse and use your Focus to align the hologram with the ruins, and you are done with the Long Coast Vista Point puzzle.

Shrouded Heights Vista Point

When trying to figure out the location of this Vista Tower, it will be located on the Northern side of the ruins of San Francisco. To find the Tower itself, head towards the trees that are located in ruins, and you will see a telephone pole that is taller than all of the trees, which is the Vista Tower itself. You cannot view it that easily because it is covered in moss and algae.

Head down there, and use the help of your Focus to scan the Vista Tower. You can view the location of the ViewPoint indicated by the “yellow marker” on the map. Once you have scanned it, you will receive your next clue, and to solve this particular puzzle, you need to start heading towards the water.
Jump in the water, start swimming the waterbed, and use your Focus to start scanning the surrounding area for a platform you can boost off. When you are starting to boost to the ledge, immediately click on your “Focus” button, which will help you line up the hologram with the original image of the ruins in the real world. You have completed the shrouded heights vista puzzle.

Isle of Spires Vista Point

The last Vista Tower that you can come across in Horizon Forbidden West is located in the Isle of Spires. Using the image that we have provided for you, you can get an idea of the primary location of the Vista Point itself, which will be located the tall metal structure, which will be a couple of stories tall.

Go to the tall metal tower that we talked about earlier to solve it.
