Warzone 2: How Do You Get A Nuke [Explained]

Everything You Need To Know About How To Get Nuke In Warzone 2

In Warzone 2, you can now nuke the map, which is one of the most thrilling tasks in Call of Duty’s seasonal multiplayer. Undoubtedly, this causes chaos in the battle royale in Warzone 2. Thus, it makes sense that so many players are eager to learn more about this deadly, game-changing weapon.

In case you didn’t know, Warzone 2.0 has a nuke in addition to the multiplayer mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. After streamers this week set a world record, the secret of how to get a nuke in Warzone 2 has been disclosed. All the ways to get and perform nuke in Warzone 2 will be covered in detail in this guide, which will compile all of the information that is currently available.

Key Highlights:

  • Unlocking the nuke in Warzone 2 doesn’t include shooting players as it was in previous titles.
  • The most prized victory in Warzone 2 Battle Royale game can be obtained by dropping a nuke on the all-new Al-Mazrah map.
  • There are multiple steps in getting the nuke with the first task of winning five games in a row being the hardest.

How To Get A Nuke

As we have already mentioned, Call of Duty isn’t new to nukes. Since Modern Warfare 2, they have appeared in the Call of Duty series under several titles. In the earliest game’s title, getting the Tactical Nuke required a streak of 25 kills. Similar versions may be found in Modern Warfare 3 and the most recent edition, Modern Warfare 2 (2022), where they are referred to as the M.O.A.B and the MGB Nuke, respectively.

In the most recent MW2 game, players must complete a 30-kill streak without dying to obtain it. This gives them access to the MGB Nuke, which, when used, instantaneously ends the game and kills all players. Warzone 2 has this feature as well, but it isn’t quite as straightforward.

The most prized victory in Warzone 2 Battle Royale game can be obtained by dropping a nuke on the all-new Al-Mazrah map. It’s not even close to being simple. Only chosen few players will be able to complete this task, making it much more of an accomplishment for the gifted few. There are multiple steps in this process, and the first one is by far the most difficult. Here is a brief explanation:

  • Win 5 matches of Warzone 2 in a row.
  • Complete the Champion’s Quest.
  • Find the three nuclear ingredients.
  • Find the bomb site.
  • Activate and Defend the bomb.

Winning 5 Matches In A Row

This first step of winning five matches in a row is considered to be the hardest step to get the nuke in Warzone 2 successfully. Getting five consecutive wins in Warzone 2 is the first requirement. You didn’t misread it; you need to succeed five times in a row in the battle royale matches.

As you compete against another hundred people, this step will likely be the most difficult for many. You’re going to need luck with this one, so good luck. To even get two wins in a row, you have to be the finest of the finest. The first group to get the nuke was three teammates and one lucky random person.

The first players to complete a Champion’s Domination in Warzone 2 are the streamers EthanStellar, OPMarked, and Magnificent. Even this elite squad nearly lost, with only one player remaining and hiding when the bomb ultimately detonated.

Completing The Champion’s Quest

Here is a more thorough explanation of what occurs and what you should do after completing the first step and, somehow, achieving a 5-game winning streak. Once you’ve won five straight games, you’ll load onto the Al- Mazrah map as usual, but as you fly in, you’ll notice three golden warzone markings on the map.

A notice that reads Champion’s Quest Available. Check your Tac-Map for a new Champion’s Quest that will display as you start the game. You can start the Champion’s Quest when you land at one of the markers on the map. The quest wording says Build and arm a nuke. Destroy the Warzone.

You have the entire map to finish the quest or perish trying as a countdown timer starts.

Finding The Three Nuclear Ingredients

You’ll notice three circles on your screen’s left side as soon as the quest is activated. The first one displays the letters Be, which stands for the element Beryllium. You first need to locate this part of the nuclear weapon. The three parts are each contained in a little box and have the appearance of orbs.

Even though the approximate location will be displayed on the map, you’ll still need to locate the exact place. You’ll get a message that reads Tracking Device Activated when you locate the Beryllium. When you pick up an orb, the Tac-Map will mark you with a gold crown that is visible to every other player in the game, making you a very noticeable target for the rest of the game.

After a brief countdown, the subsequent circle unlocks if you have located Beryllium. Plutonium is identified by the acronym Pu in this circle. You will start to experience the effects of radiation as soon as you take up this orb because this element emits lethal radiation.

Anyone in your vicinity will likewise be impacted. Although it won’t instantly kill you, it does introduce a new obstacle to the match. A player can carry multiple orbs, or you can distribute them among your team.

The last circle will now begin to activate. The symbol for Tritium appears as T in the circle. The Tac-Map is scrambled as if an enemy Counter-UAV had been employed, according to the message that states Scrambles Radar as you get to the box.

Finding The Bomb Site

Once you have all three parts, you must wait for the bomb’s location to be revealed. A jailbreak will start during this period. Any player who was previously dead will be revived and would be given another chance to win the royal. Although they will mainly be concentrated on attempting to stop the squad from activating the nuke. You’ll have five minutes to get to the bomb site once it’s exposed.

Once you have all three items, your squad will be visible to enemy squads because of the large golden crown on the tac-map, making it simple for them to find you. Your tac-map is disorganized, making it challenging to plan movements or determine your next course of action.

You also have radiation poisoning, which hampers your performance. You must now wait until the bomb site appears for a few minutes while trying to stay alive. When you approach, it will appear as a red and yellow nuclear sign on the Tac-Map and in the game.

Activating And Defending The Bomb

Each participant must place the orb they are carrying into the bomb as soon as the bomb site appears. You’ll notice a notification instructing you to detonate the device once all three have been deposited. Then, after a final one-minute countdown timer appears, you will be instructed to protect the bomb until it explodes.

The only thing left to do is to keep on living, resist invaders, and make sure the bomb doesn’t go off because of someone deactivating it. If you succeed in doing all the above-said tasks, the nuke will detonate on the battlefield, eliminating any other players who are still alive and giving you and your team the hard-earned Champion’s Domination.

Rewards For Activating Nuke In Warzone 2

As you’ve seen, this is indeed a significant accomplishment. Only the absolute best of the best will ever be able to begin a Champion’s Quest, much less complete it. When the first nuke was attempted and completed, only one squad member was still standing and hiding when the nuke ultimately detonated, nearly causing even this team of elite players to lose. It’s almost fortunate that nobody diffused the bomb.
