Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: Voice Actors & Main Cast

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Voice Actors are back to breathe life into one of my most highly anticipated games of this year. The full English voice cast for the game also includes new faces such as Graham Philips as Peter Parker’s Best Friend, Harry Osborn, and, of course, Tony Todd, who voices the ferocious symbiote creature Venom.

The following is a detailed list of the English voices behind each character in Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2:

Yuri Lowenthal – Peter Parker

Yuri Lowenthal is back to reprise his original role here as Peter Parker, AKA our Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. He is one of my favorite actors from notable previous roles, such as Yosuke from Persona 4 and Teenage Ben Tennyson from Ben 10 Alien Force. His recent voice-acting role is Smoke from Mortal Kombat 1.

Nadij Jeter – Miles Morales

Nadij Jeter also reprises his role from the previous entry for Miles Morales. He also was the leading actor in Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales from Insomniac Games, a spin-off title released in 2020. Nadij’s other prominent role in video game voice acting is Sam from The Last Of Us Part 1.

Tony Todd – Venom

Tony Todd being cast as Venom’s voice actor has fans like me excited for his role in the main story and the overall performance he will deliver as the malicious Symbiote. His acting roles include 90s movies such as Candyman and The Rock. A notable voice acting role of Tony is Darkseid in the DC Comics animated movie Justice League Dark: Apokolips War.

Laura Bailey – Mary Jane Watson

Laura Bailey returns from the previous game to voice Mary Jane (M.J) Watson again, Peter’s romantic interest in Spider-Man 2. Laura Bailey is another renowned and veteran voice actress who has voiced several characters in entertainment media and video games. My favorite voice roles involving her include Rise Kujikawa in Persona 4, Kid Trunks in DragonBall Z, and Abby Anderson in The Last Of Us Part 2.

Graham Phillips – Harry Osborn

Graham Phillips is a new addition to the cast as he voices Harry Osborn, the best friend of Peter Parker, whom fans have eagerly awaited to see properly since the first game. Graham Phillips’ previous roles include playing Nick Saint Clair on the Riverdale TV series and Zack Florrick on The Good Wife series.

Mark Rolston – Norman Osborn

Mark Rolston once again voices Norman Osborn, the Father of Harry Osborn and CEO of Oscorp. His familiar voice roles that I personally loved include Deathstroke in Batman Arkham Knight and Lex Luthor in Young Justice. He has also starred in renowned movies like The Shawshank Redemption and TV series such as Ahsoka.

Jim Pirri – Kraven The Hunter

Jim Pirri joins Spider-Man 2’s voice cast as Kraven The Hunter, one of the secondary antagonists in the game. His previous roles include notable video game titles such as Birgir In God of War Ragnarok, Captain Benjamin Mathius in Dead Space, and Regis Lucis Caelum in Final Fantasy XV.

Brian Bloom – Taskmaster

Brian Bloom reprises Taskmaster for the sequel, a minor antagonist from the original Marvel’s Spider-Man. He is also known for voicing Captain America in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Jo Sawashiro (Dub) in Yakuza Like A Dragon, and B.J. Blazkowicz in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

Erica Lindbeck – Black Cat

Erica Lindbeck also reprises her role as Black Cat, AKA Felicia Hardy, in Spider-Man 2. She is another of my favorite voice actresses, known for prominent roles in media, such as Futaba Sakura in Persona 5, Peppermint in Hi-Fi Rush, Misty in Cyberpunk 2077, and Jessie in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Ike Amadi – Prowler

Ike Amandi returns from Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales spinoff to voice Aaron Davis, AKA the Prowler. His noteworthy voice performances include Seer in Apex Legends and General Shao in Mortal Kombat 11.

Stephen Oyoung – Martin Li

Like most villains from the previous game, Martin Li, AKA Mister Negative, returns in Spider-Man 2, being voiced again by the talented Stephen Oyoung. His recent voice-acting ventures include Wallace in Remnant 2 and Jason Todd in Gotham Knights. Stephen has also done numerous acting gigs, such as starring in CSI: Vegas as Dr Cho.

Jacqueline Pinol – Rio Morales

Jacqueline Pinol voices Rio Morales, Miles Morales’ Mother, another recurring character from the previous two Spider-Man entries. She has voice acted as Sofia Amarak in Quantum Break and appeared in acting roles in the Bosch TV series as Detective Julie Espinosa.

Darin De Paul – J. Jonah Jameson

Darin De Paul is back to voice J. Jonah Jameson again in Spider-Man 2, who provides his usual cynical commentary from the NYC’s Daily Bugle. Darin is another veteran voice actor with noteworthy performances, such as Reinhardt in Overwatch 2, Ardyn in Final Fantasy XV, Samuel Hayden in Doom Eternal, and Emperor Calus in Destiny 2.

Tara Platt – Yuri Watanabe

Tara Platt also reprises her voice role as Yuri Watanabe in Spider-Man 2. Fun Fact: Tara Platt is married to Yuri Lowenthal, and both have prominent roles in this game. Her notable voice-over roles include Edelgard in Fire Emblem: Three Hopes, and most importantly, she is also announced to voice Elizabeth in Persona 3 Reloaded.

Griffin Puatu – Genke Lee

Genke Lee is one of Miles Morales’ closest friends and is voiced by Griffin Puatu. He is known to have voiced in other games, too, as Bosch in Street Fighter 6 and Saizo in Soul Hackers 2.

My Opinion On Spider-Man 2’s Voice Actors

As someone who’s played both previously released Marvel’s Spider-Man games and is looking forward to playing the sequel in a week or so, I’m super excited that most of the original Voice actor cast is back for Spider-Man 2. Yuri Lowenthal and Laura Bailey have voiced my favorite characters in video games and other media, so it brings me pure joy to see them again deliver a heart-tugging vocal performance as their respective characters.
