Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds Familiar Tier List Explained!

We understand the word “Familiars” is new in the gacha RPG realm, but Familiars In Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds are solid companions throughout the game. As you tour through the game, you can level up these units and synergize effectively with them.
Nevertheless, Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds follows a rather unique approach by dividing each of its Familiar into five different elements. These are Light, Fire, Darkness, Wood, and Water. All these elements/types manifest their own benefits and drawbacks over each other.
Because the hierarchy set in our Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds tier list discussed below closely depends on this element system, here’s how elements contest against one another: The Fire-type outclasses the Wood-type, whereas the Wood-type is considered much worthier than the Water-type.
The Water-type, however, has an advantage over the Fire-type. Lastly, the Familiars of Darkness and Light types are equal in strengths. Given this complex but interesting dissection of Familiars into closely competing elements, we have placed those who belong to stronger elements higher up in their respective tiers than those of weaker elements.
We have sorted Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds Familiars into five tiers as follows:
- Tier-S: The overall best Familiars of the game.
- Tier-A: Certainly one of the most overpowered Familiars after S-Tier ones.
- Tier-B: Balanced Familiars of Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds that will perform just fine.
- Tier-C: Average performers with nothing very unique.
- Tier-D: Not skilled. Have only the basic capabilities to offer.

Tier-A | The Destroyer |
Tier-B | The Witch |
Tier-C | The Engineer, The Rogue |
Best Classes in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds
Now that you are aware of the rank each class holds, we will discuss the abilities and skills of each class in the order of its rank in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds. Also, take a look at how to find Adventure Chests in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds so you can upgrade your characters.
The Swordsman Class
This Melee DMG class is on the top of our list for a reason. Characters from this class are armed with a one-handed sword which allows them to deal a lot of damage to the enemies. Since they are close-ranged, they can prove to be very useful in battles in a compact environment. Their DMG role with close-ranged attacks makes them the perfect class.

Using the sword, this class can take out their enemies with a few blows. Their heavy strikes have the power to penetrate the armor of enemies and make them vulnerable to incoming attacks. Some core abilities like Flash and Flying Slash ability can help you deal a lot of damage on enemies and can knock down enemies in I second.
The ultimate ability of this class is the Magical Sword Cut. This will allow you to inflict about 456 percent damage and 100 percent damage when playing against PVE enemies. You should also check out the Specialities in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds guide we have created before you read any further.
The Destroyer Class
This class comes second to Swordsman but is no less an exceptional class. This melee-focused class is positioned on the frontline and takes the most of the enemy attacks. Your teammates in the middle can do their job of giving damage to the enemies and providing them with buffs and rebuffing them when possible.

The Destroyer Class in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds possess amazing HP stats as well as DEF abilities. The abilities like Full Swing and Brutal Strike can help you a lot in difficult combat situations. Ground Slam ability allows you to jump in the air and attack the enemy. You will deal about 180 damage and the enemies will also slow down for about 3 seconds by 20 percent. Check out our Reroll guide for Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds to change characters and classes.
The most powerful ability of this class is the ultimate ability called Hammer of fury. By using the ability, you will inflict about 469 percent damage. If you’re fighting a monster, you will deal 100 percent more damage against them by using the Hammer of Fury Ability. All these amazing abilities make the Destroyer one of the best tanks in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds no matter if you’re playing PvE or PvP.
The Witch Class
Witch or Mage Class is one of the best classes in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds and could’ve been placed easily in S tier if not for their squishiness. This magic damage dealer class can use a magical spear-type weapon to deal massive damage to foes from a close or medium distance. They can also produce debuffs on enemies. Witch or mage class also have the ability to lower the stats and block most of their movements. They can also inflict continuous damage over time.

Some core abilities of Witch Class in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds make it the best for combat in PvP and PvE. Piercing Storm will let you attack your enemy with a spear and knock them down immediately giving around 180 percent damage. Dancing Spear ability will allow you to leap in the air and do a spinning attack on enemies giving them 246 percent damage. The Ultimate Ability of this class makes it one of the best classes belonging to higher tiers in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds.
The Rain of Spears Ultimate Ability summons a rain of spears from the sky that can help you inflict damage on most of your enemies. Each spear will deal about 80 percent damage and you can deal 100 percent more damage to your enemies.
The Engineer Class
The only reason why this class is not in the highest tiers in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds is due to it being only limited to a Support/Healer. They might be very helpful in PvP team battles but in Solo fights, they might not be the best class in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds. Engineers can heal and support their allies. They can also attack and inflict damage using firearms and summon skills.
For team battles, Engineers can be very useful and help support the tanks and melee users fighting on the frontline. However when solo, you might not be able to take down waves of enemies that come your way because Engineers don’t usually have a lot of damage power.

The Burst Coil Ability of this class can help you summon Artillery Shots from the air and give about 150 percent damage to the enemies. Elemental Blast can inflict about 212 percent damage by casting the element of the weapon. It can also slow down enemies by 15 percent. The Explosive Bullet ability of this class can deal heavy AOE damage using a powerful bullet.
However, what makes this class the best support is its Ultimate Ability. The Artillery Strike Ultimate Ability lets you summon 2 cannons that will inflict damage to all your enemies on the frontline. Any enemy present in front of the Engineer will receive 447% damage while the monsters will get a 100 percent increased damage.
The Rogue Class
While Rogue might not be the best class in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds, it certainly helps a lot in PvP team battles. Using long-ranged damage attacks they can help you clear out most of the enemies using their bows. Ths Rogue class can also provide buffs to their enemies and produce massive damage on enemies from a long distance making them a good damage dealer among other classes in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds.

Rain of Arrows will allow you to attack enemies with power full arrows causing around 15 percent damage. It will also slow the enemy’s movement by 11 percent. The multi-shot ability of the Rogue class in Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds will let you inflict 170 percent damage on enemies. Evasion Shot will help you shoot forward while evading incoming attacks and inflicting about 180 percent damage.
Using this ability you will also be able to push enemies away from allies and their speed will go down by 11 percent. The Ultimate Ability of the Rogue Class is Spirit Arrow which allows you to summon a powerful arrow that will take down your enemies. You can inflict 460 percent damage using the Spirit Arrow Ultimate Ability.
