What Is The Yellow Circle

There are Society Medallions, which have been introduced in the latest chapter of Fortnite. These are extremely powerful defensive items that allow players to regenerate their shields. You can basically carry this item and regenerate your shield for the rest of the match.

However, there is one disadvantage to using these medallions. Your approximate location will be revealed on the map as a big yellow circle. It means that players who carry the medallion are putting a permanent bounty on their heads and are inviting action. So, every time you spot a yellow circle on the map, it is actually the location of a player carrying a medallion.

I personally really enjoy the medallion since I can invite action to myself while also having the ability to regenerate my shield. Since the public lobbies are mostly filled with bots now, the medallions allow me to get hunted by real players.
