Ark: Survival Ascended has apparently sold 600,000 digital units on Steam within the first two weeks of its launch. The publisher of the entry, Snail, Inc., revealed the sales figure in a recent press release. Snail claims that the title reaching this sales milestone “indicates a promising expansion of the ARK franchise.”
Ark: Survival Ascended is the remake of the original Ark: Survival Evolved, which was released in 2017. The developers used Unreal Engine 5 to redevelop the entire game with much better graphics and visuals for the next generation of consoles, including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Snail is looking forward to the release of the title on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and hopes that it continues the momentum of the sales for the consoles. The developers are also pleased with the reception the entry is receiving on various live-streaming platforms, including YouTube and Twitch. It became the top streamed game on both above-mentioned websites.
Jim Tsai, the Chief Executive Officer of Snail stated;
The ARK community can anticipate an even more immersive and streamlined gaming experience thanks to the continuous efforts of our devoted development team at Studio Wildcard. We’re excited about the journey ahead and can’t wait for players to experience the next level of adventure in the ARK universe.”
Ark: Survival Ascended is yet an early access game on Steam released on October 25, 2023. It will be released in early access for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later in November. The base game contains the remastered Scorched Earth DLC. Furthermore, the entry is set to receive more expansions, including Aberration, Extinction, Genesis Part 1, and Genesis Part 2.
