Don’t Nod Entertainment, the well-grounded French developer that is also responsible for the likes of Life is Strange and Vampyr, is finally looking to push out its upcoming narrative-driven RPG called Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Right in time for the title’s global release later, it’s just received a high-quality launch trailer that focuses on the game’s narrative direction, which is fairly perplexing, to say the least.
For those who missed it, Ghosts of New Eden follows the tale of two Banishers in the fictional world of New Eden, where both Red and Antea are lovers of each other. When misfortune meets Antea, Red either has to honor his Banisher oath or do the exact opposite to be with his significant other. The game’s certainly going to put us players through our paces, I can tell.
To talk about the gameplay side of things for a change, Banishers is set to feature 5 unique endings, with each of them being based on the choices you take during your playthrough. It’s already known that the RPG in question features choice-based gameplay, and the decisions you take will influence not only the conclusion but mid-game elements as well.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is set to release on February 13, 2024, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, following a delay that occurred last year, pushing the game’s original November 2023 release to next year. The game’s combat takes apparent inspiration from the 2018-released God of War reboot and is currently enjoying a “Generally Favorable” review rating on Metacritic.
