Season 22 introduced the Exotic Mission Rotator in Destiny 2, allowing players to revisit old missions and gain some enticing loot in the process. The Seraph’s Shield quest was reported to have a bug in which players going through the teleporter early were not receiving rewards at the end of the activity. The latest update rectifies this issue.

Moreover, the matchmaking’s mention in the Legend difficulty for Spire of Savathûn has been removed. In addition to this, players who completed the Crota’s End Challenge mode during the first 48 hours have been granted the A Broken Throne emblem. Acquisition of this item completes two triumphs featured in the game—All for One and Superior Swordplay.

Patch 7.2.0.6 has also made some adjustments to the visuals of Strand Titan’s Banner of War Aspect. Additionally, a tutorial on how to crush Hive ghosts was added to the Lucent Hive story mission from the Time Reflections quests.

Aside from the aforementioned fixes, Destiny 2 has received some balance tweaks for weapons as well. These changes apply to Checkmate only. The damage penalty has been increased for Devil’s Ruin’s charged laser beam, Fighting Lion, and Bows by 5%, 20%, and 10% respectively.

Similarly, the damage penalty on some weapon categories has been reduced. The categories are Sidearms, Submachine Guns, and Scout Rifles. The penalty on the first two weapon types has been reduced by 5% while Scout Rifles have gotten a 1% reduction. Beyond this, bonus damage on Auto Rifles and Pulse Rifles has been increased by 2% and 5% respectively. Meanwhile, the Hand Cannons have received a 3% damage reduction in that department.

Lastly, two issues related to weapons were also fixed in patch 7.2.0.6. The error where Delicate Tomb was not receiving Unstoppable Round when this perk is active for Fusion Rifles and the Vex Mythoclast problem where it was benefiting from the bonus damage for Special Ammo Fusion Rifles have been resolved.

Destiny 2 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and last-gen consoles.
