Destiny 2 Patch Is Out, Improves Item Drop Rates For Crota’s End & More

Bungie has released update for Destiny 2, improving the drop rates for Essence of the Oversoul found in Crota’s End for full and repeated clears. The patch notes outline the various fixes implemented in the game as of this patch. In a continued effort to fix the myriad bugs found in D2, this update resolves the various issues with armor, weapons, and power.

Gameplay and investment adjustments include several fixes. aside from the aforementioned categories, an issue where players could activate their Glaive melee while in Weavewalk was addressed. Armor-related problems such as mod-swapping during a gear-locked activity resulting in a boot, Elemental Embrace’s glitch in PVP, Arc Elemental Orbs jolting the game objects, and anti-champion perk discrepancies were resolved.

Moreover, an issue where Husk of the Pit and Eidolon Ally would be missing their weapon fire sound effects on console platforms was fixed. Additionally, the Wendigo Grenade Launcher and Hung Jury Scout Rifle can now be focused via Vanguard Ops. An issue with The Bulbul Tarang emblem, where it didn’t appear in-game and couldn’t be equipped has also been resolved.

A problem related to Power & Progression systems in Destiny 2 was also ironed out. Minor Arcana Empowered Rewards will now function as intended. Furthermore, opening a Season of the Witch’s chest (while using a Witch’s Key) at the end of the Legendary Savathûn’s Spire, will now properly reward a Deepsight Seasonal weapon if there are any remaining to find. If not, it will give a high-stat seasonal armor piece for the respective class.

Lastly, a handful of bugs related to the seasonal aspects of Destiny 2, Crucible, and Altars of Summoning were resolved as of update

Destiny 2 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and last-gen consoles.
