- We may likely hear more in the near future. I suggest taking the rumors with a grain of salt.
The wait for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has continued into the current generation, but it might finally be coming to a close. According to the prominent insider Jeff Grubb, the RPG is slated to come out this fiscal year (from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025). The newest EA financial report mentions the games slated to launch in the FY25 timeline. And the next Dragon Age is apparently labeled as an “unannounced” owned IP by the publisher.

EA is likely calling it unannounced because it has not yet been revealed to come out in FY25. The publisher has used similar wording to describe the Dead Space Remake in one of its 2022 financial reports even when it was announced in 2021. Another insider, Shinobi, also thinks the same, along with Jeff and many in the community.
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Has A Lot To Prove
The Dragon Age franchise has made a name for itself over the years. However, the last entry did not fare as well as everyone hoped. The open world was relatively barren, with a weak plot full of loose ends. Therefore, the silence surrounding Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has also caused fans to worry about the series’ future. However, I believe it might be too early to jump the gun, given that BioWare has seen many changes since the last entry.

All in all, I suggest taking the new bit of info with a pinch of salt. BioWare has announced no official release date or a window for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf so far. However, we may hear something official in the near future.
