  • Sources close to eXputer have confirmed that Forza Motorsport—the eighth Forza Motorsport title and a reboot of the franchise—has a release date of 10 October.
  • The game was officially announced in 2020 and will arrive day one on Xbox Game Pass for the Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The newest Forza Motorsport by Turn 10 Studios which was announced in 2020 now has a release date, sources have confirmed to eXputer exclusively. The eighth mainline entry in the critically acclaimed Forza franchise will release on 10 October 2023. It has been already confirmed that more of this reboot will be revealed at the fast-approaching Xbox Showcase, and it’s possible that a release date will also be made official during the event.

The title has been in development for a considerable while now, considering how its first reveal dates to three years back at the Xbox Showcase 2020. A lot of hype has gathered around the upcoming racing simulator since then as substantial weight carries on it for being the next front-runner of Xbox’s most resounding video game series. That said, Forza has rarely ever disappointed with its up-to-the-mark offerings, that’s for sure.

Addressing the audience during Xbox and Bethesda’s Developer Direct earlier this year, Turn 10 Studio’s Creative Director Chris Esaki has stated, “The team has been working hard at bringing you the next generation of Forza Motorsport, built from the ground up to take advantage of the Xbox Series consoles,” thereby living up to its rebooted stature. Moreover, they said,

[Forza Motorsport] is technically the most advanced racing game ever made.”

Although there has been no concrete release date for Forza Motorsport up until now, the developers did issue an update in April that the latest installment in the series is currently being worked on and is still on track for 2023.

While we’re focused on polishing and preparing Forza Motorsport for release later this year, we’re still keen to hear your feature and track requests, we can keep in mind what you want to see most for the future.”

Forza Motorsport will release for the Xbox Series X|S and PC exclusively, not to mention the racing simulator arriving at Game Pass—Xbox’s dedicated game subscription service—on its first day of release.

Nicely writen article and informative

I\'m a fan of racing games in general. But the forza series has held a soft spot near and dear to my heart. I fell in love with the simulator driving style, vehicle load out, and customization in FM7. I just hate the homologation of your vehicles for the races.. Taking my time to customize a vehicle to your liking just to get it downgraded before a because the a.i. can\'t adjust to my preferences?? (Uuugghh...) FH5 took me to a very relaxing arcade style race sim that felt very comfortable. I\'m not new school and I feel its driving style has hit right for all audiences. FH5 is just unfortunately too short even with all the available dlc\'s. Its missing diversity in its races.

Thanku so much see u soon and is there going to be in the stores for sale .this game right .please
