The Grand Theft Auto 6 excitement seems to be going as strong as ever with the first twenty seconds of its teaser being recreated in Minecraft. Evilgame_ytb, a Minecraft veteran, shared the video on his page, giving us a look at a portion of the trailer in Mojang’s iconic blocky visual style.
Minecraft is known for its limitless creative potential and we’ve seen that on display with how quickly most of its talented architects get things done. The video shows the mesmerizing sunset view in the trailer’s opening, perfectly capturing the vibe of Vice City in Grand Theft Auto 6 before it moves on to the beautiful and blocky Lucia followed by the flamingos.

Equally impressive is the process of creating this visual and aesthetic masterpiece. In a live stream on his YouTube channel, EvilGame revealed the intensive work of creating a fairly huge portion of the map in Grand Theft Auto 6 including the Vice City beach. Beyond the first twenty seconds of the teaser, all of its shots are packed with dense crowds, intense lighting, and motion which elevates the challenge of its recreation to higher levels.
On the other side of this spectrum, GTA 6 seems to have attracted lawsuit threats before even seeing the light of day. Lawrence Sullivan, better known as the ‘Florida Joker,” has posted videos demanding $2 million from Rockstar for “stealing his likeness, stealing his life.” The voice of Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2 weighed in and advised Sullivan to use this fame to his advantage instead of a futile attempt at suing one of the biggest gaming companies on Earth.
Grand Theft Auto 6 was unveiled to the world on December 5, 2023. The ninety seconds of footage showcased the various sides of Vice City in breathtaking visuals as it soared past 100 million views and 8 million likes in the first 24 hours. The next entry in this legendary franchise is arriving on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025 with no mention of PC at the moment.
