Leaks suggest that Sucker Punch May Start working on the new Infamous game for PS5

Infamous games are famous for their fluent gameplay, morality system, and compelling stories. Developed by Sucker Punch and published by PlayStation studios these games have graced the PS3 and PS4 consoles. These open-world games are based on the modern-day interpretations of big American cities such as Seattle, New Orleans, and New York.

The different installation of games follows the adventures of Cole MacGrath, Delsin Rowe, and Abigail ‘Fetch’ Walker called super-powered conduits. The synopsis of the games is very simple. These individuals must decide their own destinies by using their power either for good or bad. This is where the morality or Karma system comes into place with specific repercussions during the main story missions.

The last game in the franchise Infamous Second Son was released way back in 2014. Sucker Punch, the developer, has thus been developing another game called Ghost of Tsushima, which is releasing on the 17th of this month. However, it has been a long time, and another game in the Infamous franchise is long overdue.

Now a Reddit user who goes by the handle PlunderBunker has found that the domain “infamousthegame.com” has been recently updated by Sucker Punch. It is a well-known fact that the studio is looking for developers to work on their upcoming projects for the PS5 hardware. It could just be a co-incident, but many fans are speculating that they may start working on the next entry in the Infamous series. They may get to work as soon as they are done with their current project but it would still take years to develop.
