Lies Of P Devs Confirm Patch In The Works, Roadmap For Updates To Be Revealed

Following the launch of Lies of P and subsequent discoveries and reports of game-breaking bugs, Neowiz has issued a statement, confirming that a patch is in the works. The dev letter serves as a way to reassure the players that their reports and feedback have been reviewed. In addition, the team has promised to share further details on the upcoming update very soon. Furthermore, a roadmap for content planned will also be revealed in the future.

While Lies of P can be considered one of the better releases in terms of performance, it’s still been subject to a variety of problems, including crashes and progression blockers. This is a bit of a surprise considering the extremely polished state of the demo that was made available earlier this year.

As gamers ourselves, we understand how frustrating it can be when a game doesn’t work as it should. Rest assured, we’re preparing an update to address those issues while maintaining the stability of the game.”

A couple of days ago, Neowiz discovered a game-breaking bug that prevents players from progressing past Chapter 2, after players defeat the Scrapped Watchman. The identified cause of this error was revealed to be the attempt to enter locked rooms within the premises of Hotel Krat. Doing so would result in the activation of the bug leading to adverse effects during a playthrough.

Furthermore, unexpected shutdowns and crashes during gameplay led to a fair degree of frustration among players. The Lies of P team shared a statement on the matter, advising players that most of those issues could be resolved through integrity verification and encouraging them to follow these guidelines while the problems were being looked into.
