For Those Who Missed It: The Info So Far On Marvel Rivals
The entire scenario took flight when trusted insider Kurakasis took to X to reveal details of a new superhero-centric game set in the Marvel Comics universe, titled Marvel Rivals. Reportedly, NetEase Games, a well-grounded Chinese video game developer and publisher, is spearheading the multiplayer project, which is proposed to be AAA-grade at the moment.

Then came along an exclusive article by The Streamr, which further affirmed the third-person camera perspective of the upcoming title, along with the abundance of Overwatch-like elements that would ultimately make Marvel Rivals feel like a hero shooter. Your favorite characters from Marvel are about to rear their head in, including Thor, Captain America, Scarlet Witch, and the X-Men as well.
As for the potential platforms that Marvel Rivals will be making it to, the game will likely see a mobile port. I mean, take a look at NetEase’s current catalog and you’ll see why. That said, it’s also been said that the title is also coming to modern-day platforms and PC—let’s see how that turns out.
Lastly, Kurakasis has also heard about some of the additional features that Marvel Rivals will pack, with one of them being “nice interactions” between certain characters. Groot and Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy come across as one of such examples.
There are some 'nice interactions' between characters, for example, Groot and Rocket Raccoon
Characters are divided on tanks, damage, and healers (this is pretty obvious)
