1. Workshop Floors

Workshop Floors

The Workshop is a separate room in your castle in which you can place the Woodworking Bench, Sawmill, and Grinder. All three of these structures will benefit from the Workshop Floors. The benefits of the Workshop Floors are that they reduce the crafting time of items, and it takes 25% fewer resources to craft the item.

To acquire the Workshop Floors, you must defeat Grayson, the Armorer.

Location

Grayson the Armorer is a high-level boss who resides in Farbane Woods in a bandit armory. He is a level 27 boss, so lower-level vampires should not attempt to take him head-on.

I recommend that you at least have a gear level of 27, but if your gear level is 30, it will make the fight easier. Having a gear level of 30 also means you can use the items you get from defeating Grayson. To increase your gear level faster, read the Gear Progression guide and learn how to Increase Gear Score Faster.

2. Forge Floors

The Forge is another room in your castle in which you can place all the forge structures that are listed under the Build Menu. These structures will benefit from the Forge Floors. The benefits of the Forge Floors are that it reduces items’ crafting time and takes 25% fewer resources to craft them.

To acquire the Forge Floors, you must first have the Research Desk and the recipe of the Forge Floors. For the Research desk, refer to our Research Desk guide. As for the Forge Floors, keep reading this guide.

To unlock the recipe of Forge Floors, you must battle monsters and bosses, explore towns, and gather crates.  Another way is to collect 50 pieces of paper. Or you can use 50 scrolls on the Paper Press to acquire it.

3. Alchemy Floors

One of the rooms in your castle is the Alchemy Lab. Certain Alchemy Structures will benefit from the Alchemy Floors. The benefits of the Alchemy Floors are that they reduce the crafting time of items, and it takes 25% fewer resources to craft the item.

To acquire the Alchemy Floors, the process is similar to the Forge Floors. You will need the research desk and the crafting recipe for the floors. To obtain the research desk, refer to the guide mentioned in the Forged Floors section.

To obtain the recipe, there are two ways:

  1. Firstly, you can get them by just playing the game in general, like looting, exploring, and defeating enemies.
  2. The research desk method is to collect 50 pieces of paper and use the research desk until you obtain the required recipe.

4. Crypt Floors

A Crypt is a place for servants who reside in the castle. The Crypt Floors will benefit the transformation of humans into servants. It will decrease the transformation time.

You will need the study and the Crypt floor recipe to obtain the Crypt Floors. For the crafting of the Study, you will require various materials. Ranging from paper to Grave dust. Or you can defeat Nicholaus the Fallen at the location given by the Blood Altar and obtain the Study as a boss drop.

Next, you will need the Crypt floors recipe. This can be done by defeating enemies and bosses, exploring villages, and looting chests. Or you can use 50 scrolls on the Paper Press to acquire it.

5. Prison Floors

Prison is a separate room in your base of operations where you keep humans as a source of blood. The benefit of the Prison Floors is that it reduces damage taken by the humans while draining their blood. The damage reduction is by 25%.

The Prison Floors is a late-game necessity as to obtain it, you will have to drink lots of V Blood of bosses. To acquire the prison floors, you have to grind a lot of bosses, luck, and schematics. Alternatively, you can use the Athenaeum to unlock the Prison Floors. For the Athenaeum, you will have to defeat Raziel the Shepherd.

A Library in V Rising is where you can place a Research Desk, Paper Press, Study, and Athenaeum. All these structures will benefit from the Library Floors. The benefit of Library Floors is that you will get a 25% decrease in production time when using the above structures.

The recipes of the Library Floors can be obtained as a book dropped by enemies or breakables. Alternatively, it can be unlocked as a random recipe on the Study for 75 Scrolls.

The chance of getting the recipe can be increased by hunting down V Bosses or high-level soldiers in the Dunley Farmlands as they have a higher chance of dropping them; however, they can drop duplicates of your recipes. But duplicates can still be used by turning them into scrolls.
