The rules for entering have been kept fairly simple, and only a single entry made on your end will count—no more. Nvidia has detailed some important rules for the sweepstake in a separate blog post here, but the gist of it is that you have until November 3, 5:00 p.m. PT to follow the provided instructions and mark yourself as a participant of the event.
The post embedded above is for X (formerly Twitter), but there are others just like it on different Alan Wake 2 social signals, such as Instagram and Facebook that tell you to either share, like, or comment on them, depending. Make sure to go through all those posts and complete the tasks subsequently. For what it’s worth, the GPU’s MSRP goes for $1,599 these days—a perfect gift for those who need an upgrade.
Lastly, there is a handful of regions that are eligible to partake in the giveaway. Make sure that you belong to any of these countries before you get your hopes up. Places such as Japan, New Zealand, Norway, the US, and the UK are included. Thankfully, the contest at least gives a chance to non-US players, unlike what Lies of P has been exhibiting for the past couple of months with its free offerings.
On a side note, Nvidia revealed another campaign earlier in the month, where it announced a free copy of Alan Wake 2 with a purchase of select GTX 40 graphics cards. It’s an only-until-supplies-last deal, so make sure you keep checking back from time to time to see if there’s any GPU in stock and piquing your interest. After all, this is one title that truly puts high-performance cards to the test.
Alan Wake 2 launched on October 27, 2023, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The horror thriller traces its initial announcement back to The Game Awards 2021 show, where a cinematic trailer for it was shown off.
