PlayStation is popular for its first-party titles and has a wide array of these exclusive games. Every one of these games is of the highest quality so you have to be insanely good to stand out among them. In 2016, Persona 5 did exactly that and became one of the most popular PS exclusives of all time.
The 6th game in the Persona series got widespread critical acclaim from audiences and critics alike. It was a huge commercial success too selling more than 5 million copies alongside Persona 5 Royal. So, it did seem unfair to deprive other platforms of such an amazing game.
As announced before a version of Persona 5 Royal is coming soon for all next-gen consoles and the Nintendo Switch. Even the Xbox consoles will now get the game in this new re-release. Due to a leak, we also have footage of the game playing on the Nintendo Switch OLED.

The YouTuber played the JRPG after getting a lot of questions about how the game plays on the Switch. And looking at the gameplay, it performs really well on the Nintendo Switch in undocked mode. No one knows how he got Persona 5 Royal this early but we sure are thankful.
He plays through the first 20 minutes of the Kamoshida Palace walkthrough showing us how the game looks on the console. This part of the game looks really great on the Switch OLED and plays as smoothly as it would on a console. Nintendo Switch captures the style and charm of Persona 5 Royal perfectly.
Several minutes into the gameplay, Joker awakens Arsene during the mission. The transition looks brilliant on the Switch and the combat scenes are also beautiful. It seems like Persona 5 Royal was made to play on the console.
