YouTuber Noru 122 uploaded a video of this Red Dead Redemption mod in action, showcasing how different Nuevo Paraíso looks in the remade map. As you can see in the video the mod recreates the towns of Chuparosa, Escalera, the fortress of El Presidio, and the Las Hermanas nunnery from Red Dead Redemption 1 in the sequel.

Furthermore, the settlements of El Matadero, Torquemada, and Casa Madrugada are also shown in the video, with the latter being the only part of the Red Dead Redemption mod that is 100% complete. The rest of this mod is still under construction and the NexusMod page doesn’t give any official release date for it.

One of the most successful games of all time, Red Dead Redemption 2 came out in 2018 to almost universal acclaim. The open-world title got an incredible 97 Metacritic score with near-perfect ratings from other publications. In addition, it received countless Game of the Year nominations, winning a few but losing out on The Game Awards GOTY to God of War.

The Rockstar title was also a gigantic commercial success, breaking all expectations and securing the biggest opening for any entertainment product in history, making $725 million in its first weekend. The open-world game shipped 17 million units in its first two weeks alone and was the second-highest-grossing entertainment launch behind GTA V.

As of September 2023, Red Dead Redemption 2’s sales stand at a whopping 57 million, making it one of the best-selling titles of all time. The sequel initially launched for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26, 2018, but has since come out on PC and Stadia.
