The company has slowly hinted that the fiscal year 2025 (April 2024 – March 2025) will be an important year for the company and expects a massive revenue bump as rumors hint at a GTA 6 release during this time period.

Grand Theft Auto stats

Everything all but hints at a Grand Theft Auto release sometime between April 2024 and May 2025, Take-Two’s fiscal year 2025. But when exactly could the game be released? Take-Two has a history of announcing its games in October the year before they release, with a release date the following September/October, So an announcement could come as early as this October, with a potential release date of September-November 2024.

The Grand Theft Auto franchise is the largest of all. With 405 million copies sold, GTA 6 will likely surpass its predecessors, but one thing that could be holding it back is the availability and production of current-generation consoles and modern PC hardware. Still, the next GTA game is a title that will generate billions of dollars for Take-Two and Rockstar Games.
