The Witcher 3 lets you play as Geralt of Rivia, who is one of the most skilled and talented witchers found in the land. But if you’re like me, then having the choice to play as a fully customizable character might be more appealing. NexusMods user nikich340 has whipped up exactly that mod; you can play as any existing character or a unique protagonist to tell your own story.

This mod allows you to smoothly play as any Witcher, Witcheress or Sorceress. Fully customizable appearance. New magic combat system and new questline for Sorceress type, fully voiced,” reads the mod page.

Additionally, the mod also brings a whole new magic combat system to elevate the fun mechanic to a whole new level. Players can now wield a variety of spells, with a custom quest line giving you the know-how to get into them.

The Witcher 3 Could Stay On Top Of RPGs For Years Because Of Mods

The title in itself is fantastic and offers hours upon hours of content. Whether it’s the combat you fancy or the small yet engaging side quests to keep you immersed in the world, it’s hard to truly run out of things to do. However, mods are still an option for players who have seen every nook and cranny of the RPG and want to tinker around with more options. Another recent mod newly added a canceled ending to the game, for instance.
