Upcoming VR Title “Breachers” Showcases Futuristic Combat

Triangle Factory, creator of Hyper Dash reveal their next VR title, and it takes a more serious approach.

The Virtual Reality genre has always been a subject of innovation. With titles like The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, Resident Evil VII VR, and the up-and-coming future-centric game Breachers, constantly pushing the limits of how far one can be integrated into a virtual world, hence the name, virtual reality.

With the added hype of these titles increasing and the overall fanbase getting larger and larger, companies such as Sony have started cashing in on the VR market by announcing their new Virtual Reality system which will be launching soon.

But of course, what is a system without a catalog of experience-rich games to claw at? Following through the added hype, many studios are making Virtual Reality based games, and @trianglefactory has just followed suit, thereby revealing an exceptionally intriguing title.

Their newest game called “Breachers” contains a load of unique gadgets to outsmart the enemy, a large variety of weapons fit for every playstyle, and this is coupled with team-based warfare on a certain objective. The title mostly focuses on tactical 5 vs 5 first-person shooter gameplay with the added element of Virtual Reality.

By taking a look at the announcement video, it’s easy to conclude that a variety of elements seem similar to Rainbow Six Siege to a great extent.

However, some facets that do not strike a resemblance between the two are the differences in gadgets and weaponry in Breachers. And of course, one cannot help but take into account that the latter is a VR title.

Triangle Factory is not new to the domain of VR as they already have Hyper Dash in the bag, a game that measures up to nothing but a fun experience. Only time will dictate how the team decides to push the title outward.

The developers seem to be going full throttle on the game and have even made a Discord channel which will shed light on information for the open alpha later this year.
