Warner Bros. Has a Free-to-Play AAA Project In the Works

A plethora of recent job listings has our interest on the rise

Warner Bros. Games is a predominant entity in the gaming industry. It has blessed us with titles like Mortal Kombat, Batman Arkham series, Injustice, Shadow of War, and these are just to name a few. Rest assured, news coming from them usually hints at something big.

Quite recently, WB Games has put up several job listings clearly stating that they are working on an “exciting, new, cross-platform AAA game.” The Senior Combat Designer position alone mentions the cross-platform element.

It seems to us that Warner Brothers are acquiring a whole new team for this project of theirs. Their focus has majorly hinged on single-player games, but that’s not all there is to this massive company. The upcoming action RPG Hogwarts Legacy could also incorporate a multiplayer mode, and right alongside that huge title, the addition of a AAA freebie would be stellar for gaming fans.

Other job positions that indicate this new project include a Senior UI Artist, Software Engineer, VFX Artist. Check out the whole scene here.

More details are yet to follow since nothing can be said assuredly for now. The game’s genre is yet to be declared, among other crucial information.

What do you make of Warner Bros. Games’ new project? Let us know your thoughts down in the comment section.
