According to the patch notes, players can access the contents of Upheaval in Jingxiang after completing the mission “The Crouching Dragon Roars” in the base game.
Upheaval in Jingxiang adds a new weapon category to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty—Whips. Following the general pattern of Team Ninja games, the armament will be available from the beginning once the DLC is applied. Additionally, you can redeem a free whip via Deliveries in the Battle Flag menu.
New foes and the “Path of the Dragon King” difficulty mode accompany the new weapon in Wo Long. Similar to past titles, players can unlock this NG+ level after clearing a certain number of missions under the “Path of the Heavenly Dragon” difficulty. The mode allows you to obtain equipment with upgrade levels and rarities greater than the game’s current maximum level. In addition, the player’s level cap has also been raised.
Free Updates & Adjustments In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty v1.300
This new patch introduces several free updates as well to enhance the game’s experience. As of v1.300, the Inner Discipline feature in Wo Long has been expanded. This will allow players to choose from even more options when imposing restrictions on their characters on the Battle Preparation screen. Placement of restrictions will give you a chance to earn stronger equipment.
Moreover, fifteen new wizardry spells have been added to the game. To use them, players must first obtain the Hidden Tomes with their method of choice. New martial arts techniques have also been added for two weapon families in Wo Long. Suffocating Stream can be found on hammers and poleaxes while Entwined Blades can be discovered on dual swords, dual sabres, and dual halberds.
Next up are features that allow the player to change the button combination type, switch between tabs for some filter fields, and mass-extract the jewels in any gear piece via the Embedment option at the Blacksmith. These are just some of the various free updates in Wo Long. In addition to these, several balance adjustments have been made to weapons and bosses.
