Evolution Championship Series has undoubtedly proven to be a successful annual esports event that concentrates on fighting games. Contestants garner from all around the world to Las Vegas to partake in open tournaments using the double-elimination format. The festival has dominated the fighting games for decennia.
Every successive tournament has seen an increase in spectators, and the fighting genre has only grown stronger in recent years. After hosting more than 120 online tournaments, the event is returning in 2022. PlayStation Blog has posted alluring details, but the event was announced back in 2021.

Evo 2022 will take place in Las Vegas from August 5 to 7 as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. The spectators will be able to witness competitors unleashing their honed skills over the weekend with competitive fights. Moreover, it will be aired live for those interested in watching the event from behind a screen.
The live stream event is dubbed “Evo Lounge” and can be watched on Twitch and Youtube. The Evo Lounge is “a live show dedicated to covering all the competition’s exciting events and content.” Moreover, “Viewers will be able to stay updated with the latest at Evo and watch exclusive content that won’t be available elsewhere.” Evo Lounge will run on the 5th and 6th of August.
Evo Lounge will unveil exclusive coverage, bracket updates, interviews with players, thrilling content, and inside reveals from developers and publishers such as “Arc System Works, Warner Bros. Games, Capcom, SNK, and Bandai Namco Entertainment.” Scenes with the pro players and a few sneak peek of future ventures of Evo will also be revealed in the live stream.
