UPDATE: Since the original video was inevitably removed from the channel (likely a DMCA takedown), below is a different video for the same demo (thanks to MrKingster).
Updated again.
LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga is the sixth upcoming instalment to Warner Bros’ TT Games’ Lego Star Wars series. The game is officially set to feature all nine of the Skywalker saga movies. Fans of LEGO games have been extremely hyped for the game, as it seems promising and is set to deliver a good chunk of the story. It will be released on the 5th of April 2022. But, just ahead of the release of the game, a 40-minute video featuring the game’s demo has been leaked on YouTube.
A YouTube channel by the name CrazyGamingHub recently posted a video titled “LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Preview Demo Gameplay.” Right in the beginning, the video shows the last five of the Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga movies with their titles. Namely “The Empire Strikes Back,” “Return of the Jedi,” “The Force Awakens,” “The Last Jedi,” and then “The Rise of Skywalker.” Then, the player shows the remaining four movies as well; “The Phantom Menace,” “Attack of the Clones,” “Revenge of the Sith,” “Solo,” “Rogue One,” and “A New Hope.”
The video kicks things off with the fourth episode, Episode IV – A New Hope, and it seems as if they were also experiencing the game for the first time because none of the levels shown had any progression whatsoever. The game looks promising, featuring breathtaking visuals of space, and cinematics. Rest of the things, including gameplay, sounds, music, and everything in between, also looked and felt great. In the leaked demo video of the game, the player also shows some of the iconic locations and experienced some nostalgia for it, especially if anyone hasn’t watched Star Wars recently.
