Recent Arma Reforger Rating Suggests PC Exclusivity

Arma Reforger is expected to be an entire military sandbox experience with the tint of modern innovations in the classical Arma series. Since the title’s unexpected leak of detailed marketing and brand guide, Arma Reforger has been the latest buzz in the gaming sphere.

There was little known info regarding the game, but the leak served a full-course meal of vital details concerning the secretive title. Though nothing is set in stone, since it was not revealed through an official source, it satiated the glut of gamers and unveiled the existence of Bohemia Interactive’s latest endeavors.

Moreover, the anticipated AAA title has garnered a surplus of attention in the gaming community since the last installment was released a decade ago, and fans have been curious about what Bohemia Interactive has brewed.  Arma Reforger has now supposedly been rated for PC on ESRB, suggesting PC exclusivity for the game.

The rating further suggests that the title is nearly ready to be shipped out to excited players. It appears that Arma Reforger has only been rated for the PC platform while other expected platforms are nowhere to be seen. The rating for the game indicates that the title will be PC exclusive.

It is an intriguing turn of events since the previously leaked marketing and brand guide mentioned Arma Reforger as a “multi-platform” game in nature. Moreover, the leaked document also seemingly targeted a “console-oriented” audience.

There is a possibility that the game could still be multi-platform, and the rating for other platforms is delayed, and the game might get rated for other platforms in the future. Perhaps the release could be a PC exclusive, and the game may come out for other outlets after a triumphant release on PC.

This seems probable because the prior leaked document mentioned, “Contrary to prior installments in the franchise, future Arma releases will be multi-platform titles. Arma Reforger is expected to launch on PC, Xbox (One/Series X), and PlayStation (4/5 in the future).”

The rating also cites the typical War Element “Blood, Strong Language, & Violence.” Arma Reforger is rightfully given a Mature 17+ rating because “characters use pistols, rifles, grenades, and vehicle-mounted machine guns to kill enemies in realistic combat. Firefights are highlighted by gunfire, explosions, and cries of pain.”

Arma Reforger will serve as the bridge to Arma 4, as an alluring bunch of developers tries to tinker around with its customized Enfusion Technology game engine to power up the multiplayer experience. Moreover, the game has no confirmed single-player campaign, and the title is expected to be wholly multiplayer.
