Horizon Forbidden West: DLC Expansions And Online Store Leaked

The VSC has just slipped up about the best-selling game in the UK, Horizon Forbidden West, saying, “This game offers players the ability to connect to an online store” in a VSC’s Age Rating Guides video recently posted on Twitter. This means the game is soon expected to have an in-game store where players can make purchases. Further, they added, “..where they can purchase subsequent DLC Expansions.” There has been no official announcement or news regarding the DLC Expansions or the Online Store. So the VSC has slipped up about the DLC Expansions and Online Store ahead of schedule.

There is no online store in Horizon Forbidden West as of yet, but there were some speculations before the leak. The physical copy of the game features an icon about in-game purchases; not only that, but the ESRB rating also had “In-Game Purchases.” So it was bound to happen, but now the game has just received confirmation from VSC, an administrator of the PEGI age rating system who is in charge of age rating in Europe. Players were hoping for the DLC Expansions for Horizon Forbidden West from Guerrilla Games more than Online Store.

The DLC expansions were going to happen sooner or later for a game as huge as Horizon Forbidden West. The same thing also happened with Horizon Zero Dawn, in the form of The Frozen Wilds DLC expansion. So there is no surprise with the reveal of DLC Expansion since The Frozen Wilds blew after it was out. The VSC’s Age Rating Guides video said “DLC Expansions,” so the players can expect more than just one DLC expansion. There are no leaks or news regarding what to expect from the DLC Expansions or when they are expected to come out. So far, all we know is that the game will have DLC Expansions available for purchase.
