The Last Of Us Part II Multiplayer: Ellie’s Armour Leaked

Speclizer, a data-miner, showcases multiplayer armour models for Ellie in the upcoming The Last Of Us Part II multiplayer in a recent video.

In July 2021, it was rumoured that Naughty Dog would be releasing a standalone multiplayer instalment for The Last of Us Part II. Since then, there have been many more rumours and leaks as to what players can expect from this new instalment. In August 2021, it was revealed that The Last of Us Part II multiplayer could feature a Battle Royale mode after certain multiplayer assets found within the game’s files suggested so. Now, some more multiplayer assets have been found and these ones are armour models for the protagonist.

Earlier today, Speclizer, a data-miner, posted a video onto their YouTube channel which showcases the armour models for Ellie in the upcoming multiplayer instalment to The Last of Us Part II found within the game’s files. As explained in the video, these armour models could possibly be placeholder models that were used during the development of the standalone multiplayer instalment.

There are three armour models that have been data-mined; the first of which is a blue vest with “POLICE” written on it; the second being a simple black vest; and the third one a light camouflage vest. However, this isn’t all that has been found. In the comments under the video, Speclizer also mentions, “There are also 6 multiplayer backpacks that I have not been able to load in game. Their names are assault, melee, sniper, stealth, support and tactical.” So, it seems like there’s way more to this upcoming multiplayer instalment that’s still to be uncovered.

In January, it was rumoured that The Last Of Us Part II multiplayer would be releasing in 2022. While there hasn’t been any confirmation regarding it from Naughty Dog itself, the leaks do seem to suggest a promising standalone multiplayer instalment to the franchise from the company. We can’t wait to see what Naugty Dog comes up with.
