Forza Motorsport Reportedly In Beta Stages, Suggests Industry Insider

"There have been some influencers who've actually played it," says Jez Corden.

Turn 10 Studios has silently been brewing the eighth installment in the stellar series. Forza Motorsport has been among the most anticipated games for the next generation. The forthcoming installment wholly reimagines the game’s physics potential and ramps up the game engine to another level. To achieve the fantastic feats Turn 10 Studios have claimed, the team took a break from its usual two years of the development cycle. The last installment came out half a decade ago, in 2017. The release date is yet to be announced, but the title is expected to arrive this year.

Forza Motorsport has been through several playtests, and the developers have considered the community’s requests. The developers invited the players to join in for tests through curated emails. In a recent episode of the Xbox Two Podcast discussing the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, essential updates were provided regarding the future of some titles. Jez Corden, an accredited industry insider, also revealed new information regarding the alluring Forza Motorsport.

The game is apparently in the Beta stages of development, according to the industry insider. He also claims that several influencers have already played the anticipated game. It’s not surprising, since the developers have been very active in getting remarks from the community. Turn 10 Studios has affirmed in the past that this title will be known as Forza Motorsport rather than Forza Motorsport 8.

The studio is rejuvenating and reinvigorating the series, and it has been reflected in the changes we’ve seen thus far. “I just wanted to reaffirm that the game’s name is Forza Motorsport,” cited Chris Esaki, the Creative Director at Turn 10 Studios. “There’s no sequential eight after the title. It really is an all-new Forza Motorsport experience,” he said in the Forza Monthly stream, in May 2021.

Furthermore, several upgraded features are rumored to appear in the game, like heat interactions with tire pressure. We’ll be able to feel the pressure of the burning rubber against the track — innovative features like atmosphere pressure systems that will impact air density, dynamics, and power. — day and night cycles for each track depending on the track itself and the length of a track.

Forza Motorsport is returning to its root and reimagining itself to craft a stellar title to compete with goliaths like Gran Turismo 7. The title is rumored for a release within the year; the best guess is around August or September. The title is exclusive to PC and Xbox Series X|S in old Forza fashion. Moreover, Forza Motorsports is heading for next-generation consoles, since the previous-generation consoles could not handle the innovative features.
