The PlayStation 5 was released in November 2020, in the middle of a global epidemic accompanying supply chain difficulties. Finding a new-in-the-box PlayStation 5 at retail (rather than one sold for extravagant rates on the grey market) has been a way of life for many over the last two years.
The global PlayStation 5 shortage is officially over two years after the console’s launch. PS5 has now surpassed 30 million units sold to consumers after enjoying its most successful month since its launch in December 2022, according to boss Jim Ryan. The milestone was announced during Sony’s CES 2023 press conference.

Stores that have the package available for preorder as of this writing appear only to have the disc edition available. The retailers in question are JB Hi-Fi, EB Games, and The Gamesmen.
All of the above-mentioned retailers have different release dates for this bundle, but now that the news is out in the open, we can expect it to arrive by the end of this month.
Having two controllers right out of the package is a huge utility for many gamers. You can straight up hop into the multiplayer games and have a go with your friends and siblings. This bundle is a good option also if you want to save quick 10-20 bucks, or you can rotate both controllers and not face any hassle regarding the battery.
