Halo carries years of legacy. Fans never stop discovering brand-new stuff within Halo, thereby keeping the game alive for over two decades. The passion and love for the series are still commendable; whether digging up cut content or recreating more exciting stuff, Halo’s fanbase never stops.
The in-game playable mode Forge for the Halo series has undoubtedly been a game-changer for the franchise. The software allows fans to create maps for the Halo games. Fans can incorporate stuff from their favorite movies and TV shows within Halo games. Moreover, collaborate Halo with retro titles to relive the nostalgia.
Another great addition is now up for the fans by the fans. Two lovers of the series who go by Twitter usernames Ludo_HT and Its_L010 have created the much-appreciated and super nostalgic DK Mountain track from Mario Kart in Halo Infinite Forge.

For those unaware, DK Mountain is a course modeled on the jungle setting of the Donkey Kong video games. It debuted as the fourth and last track of the Star Cup in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and then as the third track of the Lightning Cup in Mario Kart Wii.
Players travel through the middle of a jungle on the Barrel Cannon to the summit of a volcano before driving through a series of curves and across a shaky rope bridge to the finish line. A raging volcano, shaky bridges, and a large cannon with falling boulder hazards make up the track.
You can check out the map here. The creators in the description say you’ll need 5 laps to win the game. Gear up to race and shoot on DK Mountain.
Recreation and creativity keep the titles alive. Recently, the deleted Halo 2 map “Anchor Point” also got recreated for Halo Infinite. The developers thought the map was too messy for the final release, and it was discarded by Bungie after a week’s development.
Moreover, if you haven’t checked out yet. The earliest build of Halo 3, dubbed “Pimps At Sea” also got leaked online. The Alpha build has a number of exciting features, including a leaning feature that supports corner aiming. Without a doubt, 2023 started off with Halo at the forefront.
