Story Highlights
- Atomic Heart developers have finally revealed the detailed system specifications, with it featuring six different graphical settings ranging from minimum 30 FPS to ultra 4K settings.
- Only the GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 380 GPU and 8GB RAM (12GB of RAM is recommended for no stuttering) is enough to play the game on the lowest settings with minimum 30 FPS.
- The game only demands the GeForce GTX 3080 or RADEON RX 6800 XT GPU and 32GB of maximum memory to achieve the ultra 4k settings.
- Moreover, only 90GB of storage is required to run the game smoothly.
Atomic Heart is an upcoming FPS shooter that takes place in an alternate dystopian reality haunted by malicious robots and more. The community has long been curious about detailed system requirements for the game, and developers have finally shared a list specifying PC system specifications needed for a buttery experience.
Mundfish has revealed the system requirements on Twitter, which reveals a thorough list of prerequisites necessary to run the game at a specific resolution and FPS threshold without any impediments.
The requirements list is divided into six graphical settings ranging from the minimum 30 FPS to ultra 4K resolution while only requiring minimum hardware.
The minimum 30 FPS can be achieved consistently by only using the GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 380 and 8GB RAM (12GB of RAM is recommended for no stuttering). Moreover, the Intel core 15-2500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor is suggested to run the game on the 1080p resolution in the lowest provided settings.
On the other hand, Atomic Heart can withhold the minimum 60 FPS on the Intel core 15-6500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor and the 8GB RAM (12GB of RAM is recommended for no stuttering). This grade of settings solicits the GeForce GTX 1060 or RADEON RX 580 GPU to run the game on low graphical settings at 60 FPS.
The storage of 90GB HDD (SSD recommended) is mandated to run the game on low graphical settings to ensure no storage issues occur while downloading and playing Atomic Heart.
The medium graphical settings on the consistent 60 FPS can be obtained using the Intel core 15-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1400 processor and 16GB of memory. The GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5600 XT GPU and the 90GB SSD storage are required to power the game on the low graphic settings in the 1080p resolution.
Atomic Heart will need the player to use the Intel core 15-7600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 CPU and 16GB of RAM for the high graphical settings. The title will hog at least the GeForce GTX 1080 or Radeon RX 5700 XT GPU on this setting. Moreover, a 90GB SSD is a must to run the game smoothly on the high 1080p resolution.
The ultra prerequisite will run the game on the 1080p resolution at 60 FPS by consuming 16GB of memory; it will need at least the Intel core 17-7700K or AMD RYZEN 5 2600X processor. Moreover, it requires the immense VRAM of the GeForce RTX 2070 S or RADEON RX 6700 XT GPU to achieve the ultra setting.
The ultra 4K is the only graphical setting that runs the game on the 2160p resolution at 60 FPS. The users boasting the Intel core 17-8700K or AMD RYZEN 5 3600X processor, 16GB of memory, the GeForce RTX 3080 or RADEON RX 6800 XT GPU, and 90 SSD storage can play Atomic Heart on the best settings without stutters.
Atomic Heart is slated to arrive on February 21st, 2023, for both the next and old-generation platforms. Furthermore, it will release on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S consoles, and PC. Mundfish’s new endeavor is already available to pre-load on the Xbox Series family.
