Limited Run Games are putting up physical copies on sale for Quake

Quake Remastered Physical Copies Pre-order available August 27th

Starting August 27th, Limited Run Games are starting pre-orders on limited edition Switch and PS4 Physical copies for the new Quake Remaster. These copies are only available for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions of the game and include multiple editions.

The Standard Edition which costs $29.99 only includes a disk with the game while the $79.99 Limited Deluxe Edition includes:

Steelbook Copy of The game
Commemorative Metal Coin,
An 18×24 Reversible Poster
Metal Keychain

There is also a whopping $174.99 Ultimate Edition that includes:

Quake Logo T-Shirt
Quad Damage Statue
A figure of the Shambler
Nail Gun Ammo Box
Enamel pin
Ring of Shadows
All content of the Deluxe Edition.

This is certainly going to be a must-buy for both collectors of Video game Special editions as well as classic Quake fans.

Quake Remastered shadow dropped last night on all platforms ahead of QuakeCon in a few days. Adding a ton of nifty features to the beloved FPS classic including improved lighting, post-processing effects, local and online multiplayer support, as well as an all-new expansion pack developed by Machine Games who are known for their work on the critically acclaimed Wolfenstein reboots.

The new expansion is almost a full campaign with an entirely new hub area and brand new sets of levels that go the extra mile to show off the new lighting system at its best. The new port itself has been a pleasantly surprising touch-up of the beloved FPS classic minus a few hiccups. It is now in many ways the best way to experience such a crucial piece of gaming history. We can also stay hopeful for further news related to the franchise on this year’s QuakeCon
