NetherRealm Studios released the latest patch notes for Mortal Kombat 1 which include general gameplay and character-specific adjustments. These patch notes are only available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions of the game. Moreover, move list corrections and localization fixes have been implemented for general gameplay.
Additionally, issues that caused Player 2 to push their opponent further away during specific combo sequences have been resolved. Another fix addresses the problem of buffered Kombo Attacks Strings and buffered 2in1-cancelled non-Enhanced Special Moves not being performed correctly in certain situations. Furthermore, the issue of unbreakable attacks for Stryker and Sektor has been fixed, ensuring fair gameplay.
For character-specific adjustments, one of the notable fixes involves Ashrah’s Crushing Knee which previously had the issue of passing through opponents while attacking. Also, Goro (Kameo) benefits from an adjustment that gives higher priority to his Stomp when it and his partner’s attacks hit on the same frame. Additionally, Havik’s Decaying Guard and Flesh Wound no longer auto-face.
In addition, several attacks that were not working correctly against high-parry special moves have been fixed for various characters. For example, Ashrah’s God’s Wrath and Demon’s Wrath, Baraka’s (Air) Death Spin, Johnny Cage’s Ball Buster and Rising Star, and many more have been adjusted to provide a more consistent and balanced gameplay experience.
